Restaurant Equipment Removal

We work around your schedule, not the other way around.

$1M liability insured Transparent flat pricing Same-day available

Restaurant cleanouts have a specific set of challenges, commercial equipment is heavy, often gas-connected, and the timelines are tight because an empty restaurant is a restaurant losing money every day. Junk Nurse handles restaurant equipment removal in Aurora and the Fox Valley with flexible scheduling (including early morning before service, or overnight between closes) and the crew to move heavy commercial kitchen equipment without damaging floors or doorframes.

What We Remove

Commercial refrigerators and walk-in cooler components
Commercial ranges, fryers, and ovens
Hood systems (after contractor disconnection)
Dishwashing systems
Prep tables and commercial sinks
Bar equipment and fixtures
Dining room furniture (tables, chairs, booths)
Host stands, point-of-sale furniture, and display cases
What we don't take: Gas line disconnection must be performed by a licensed plumber before we remove any gas-connected equipment. Grease traps require a separate licensed service. We'll coordinate timing around these.

How It Works

Simple. Transparent. No surprises.

1

Schedule

We work around your hours, early morning, late night, between lunch and dinner service, or full closure. Your schedule, not ours.

2

Coordinate

Gas disconnection, hood system teardown, we coordinate the sequence with your other contractors so the removal isn't holding anything up.

3

Remove

Commercial equipment is heavy and awkward. We have the crew and the equipment handling experience to move it without floor damage or wall scrapes.

4

Clear

Space left clear. Metal to scrap. Refrigerant recovery compliant. Documentation available for landlord or health department purposes.

Common Questions

Can you work during off-hours to avoid disrupting service?

Yes. Early morning, overnight, or between meal periods, whatever keeps your operation running. We're used to the restaurant schedule.

What about the gas disconnection?

Gas lines need to be disconnected by a licensed plumber before we remove gas-connected equipment. We'll work around your plumber's schedule to make the sequence work.

Can you remove a commercial refrigerator?

Yes, including proper refrigerant recovery per Section 608. Commercial refrigeration units require this just as residential ones do.
