The village started as a farming community of 125 at 1957 incorporation and grew east of Route 47 through the early 1960s, then west through the 1970s (Dugan Woods was annexed in 1977). Late 1980s and 1990s brought Windstone, Black Walnut Trails, Strafford Woods, Mallard Point, Chelsea Meadows, and Windsor Pointe. Prestbury is the flagship HOA (~940 homes since 1969 with private trails, Blackberry Lake, and Lake Prestbury on-property, dues $90-$401/mo). Rolling Oaks is townhouses built 2002-2005 by Tanglewood Development east of Route 47. Waubonsee Community College anchors the corner of Rte. 47 and Waubonsee Drive. The transition from farmstead to residential is still visible on the village fringe.

Can you clear outbuildings, sheds, and workshops on farmstead-transition properties?
Yes. Sheds, detached garages, workshops, all included in the quote. Farmstead cleanouts often have significant scrap metal, which we sort separately for recycling. True farm equipment (tractors, combines) is beyond our scope, but general agricultural debris, metal fencing, and workshop contents are standard.
LRS only runs electronics curbside once a month with a week's advance notice. Can you take TVs on the same visit?
Yes. Electronics come off the same visit as the rest of the load. We route them to the Kane County e-recycler in Geneva rather than the landfill.
Where do paints and pesticides go?

Do you serve properties along Jericho Road and outside village limits?
Yes. Sugar Grove is our home ground and we cover the full geography, including the Waubonsee area, Route 47 corridor, and the transitional agricultural properties on the fringe with no travel surcharge.
