Junk Nurse, Aurora, IL

About Alex Welsch

The name is not a gimmick. It is literal.

Alex Welsch has been a registered nurse for 15 years. He built Junk Nurse on the same principles he uses with every patient: show up when someone needs you, handle everything with care, and leave things better than you found them.

Both industries, healthcare and junk removal, are built around one thing: helping people through a difficult moment. For Alex, that is not marketing language. It is how he operates every single day.

Why He Started Junk Nurse

After 15 years in nursing, Alex understood something most junk removal companies miss: when someone calls for a cleanout, they are usually in the middle of something hard. An estate after a loss. A house they need to sell. A landlord situation gone wrong. A room that got out of hand during a difficult year.

He started Junk Nurse to bring the same care he gives patients to a service industry that desperately needs it.

What That Looks Like on the Job

  • We show up when we say we will. A scheduled time is a commitment, not an estimate.
  • We protect your home. Floors, walls, and doorways are treated with care on every job.
  • We are transparent about pricing. The quote you receive is the price you pay.
  • We triage before we haul. Items people assume are trash, appliances, furniture, mattresses, can often be recycled or repurposed. Alex knows what to do with them, and it matters to him personally.

Alex lives in the Aurora area. His kids have grown up here. When you see the Junk Nurse truck in a parade or at a community event, that is not a sponsorship check. It is a family who is genuinely part of this community showing up the way they always do.
