Should I plan to be home the whole time?

You need to be there for the walkthrough at the start (so we can confirm what goes and give you the price) and the final walkthrough at the end (so we can confirm everything went smoothly and run payment). In between, you’re free to leave or stay. Most homeowners stay for the first 15 minutes, then go about their day.

Do larger crews finish faster?

For most residential jobs, the bottleneck isn’t crew size — it’s the time it takes to load the truck and walk items down the basement stairs. Larger crews matter most for estate cleanouts, hoarding jobs, and whole-house turnovers, where loading speed and donation routing benefit from more hands.
